Raphael Chew is the CEO and Co-Founder of Ecovolt, an AI-native sustainability startup helping buildings reduce energy waste, optimise operations, and accelerate decarbonisation.
A Business Administration graduate from the National University of Singapore, Raphael has led Ecovolt from a student-led hackathon idea to an award-winning venture deployed across schools, commercial buildings, and enterprise environments.
Under his leadership, Ecovolt has earned recognition at regional sustainability and innovation competitions, and he was recently inducted as a Philip Yeo Initiative Fellow. Passionate about entrepreneurship and climate innovation, Raphael is committed to building technology that creates meaningful environmental impact at scale.
Ecovolt is a Singapore startup founded by NUS alumni, building an AI-native cloud platform for autonomous building operations and sustainable utilities management. Its smart plug hardware and software surface idle plug loads across desks, floors, and entire building networks, delivering double-digit energy reductions and preventing over 100 tonnes of CO₂ emissions across deployed sites.
