Vishnu Saran is the Founder of Invigilo Technologies, a Singapore-based company that uses AI to improve workplace safety in high-risk environments. Leveraging on-site CCTV cameras, the company's AI-driven video analytics software scans the environment for safety lapses and, if identified, transmits instantaneous, real-time alerts for staff to respond to.

Common high-risk safety lapses include workers failing to maintain a safe distance from machinery, working at heights without appropriate barricades, and failing to secure their harnesses to lifelines. "By installing this technology, the number of safety lapses at workplaces can decrease by an average of 30% to 40% each month," he says.

Invigilo has established partnerships with government bodies in Singapore including the Land Transport Authority (LTA) and the Housing Development Board (HDB), both of which mandate worksite safety technology across their projects.

Over the next five to ten years, Vishnu plans to broaden his team and diversify the company's product offerings, expanding into North America and the Middle East, with particular interest in occupational safety for the logistics and maritime industries. He was named a Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia honoree in 2023.
